About Kevin Simpson BA(Hons) Primarily I'm a qualified and experienced graphic designer who has a passion for photography, colour and composition... Having (and being able to use) a good eye for image composition and colour makes the designs I produce more appealing and eye-catching than the run of the mill. Photography has always been a passion and I have been producing photographic images for as long as I can remember. The onset of the digital revolution has made it easier for everyone to take photographs. I have wholeheartedly embraced this and welcomed the reduction in cost and the ease of use digital equipment has brought about. I was an "early adopter" and have been experimenting with the fusion of digital imagery and graphic design since its low quality beginnings in the 1990s. Simply having the best equipment isn't enough to do a good job. A photographer must have flair, creativity and an eye for the unusually commonplace. Whilst gaining my honours degree in graphic design I trained in classical film photography, lighting and photo-printing. I now combine these composition and colour techniques with state of the art technology and capability to produce images that rival those for which you'd have paid thousands of pounds only a few years ago. My work has been published internationally and I have been commissioned to produce pieces for prestigious venues.
